Joining an event
You do not need an account. Scan the event's QR code with your phone, or open the link the host shared with you. Enter a first name once and you land straight in the camera. If you scanned the QR before installing UNSEEN, install the app first, then scan it again — it will take you into the event.
Creating and paying for an event
On the home screen tap Create event, choose the dates and when everyone gets to see the photos, then confirm. Hosting is a one-off fee that scales with the number of guests, and it is free for gatherings under five guests. Payments go through Stripe (card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay). Guests never pay anything. If a charge does not look right, email hello@uncn.io with the event name and we will sort it out.
Capturing and seeing the photos
Everyone shoots through the same in-app film camera — back camera, flash on, an analog look on every frame. Each guest gets six photos and two short videos. Nothing is a finished gallery until the reveal date the host picked; once it opens, everyone who took part can see the whole set together. There are no uploads from your camera roll — only what was taken in the moment.
Signing in
Signing in is optional and never required to use UNSEEN. It only keeps your events safe if you switch phones. You can sign in with Apple on iOS or Google on Android; there is no email or password sign-in. We cannot recover access to events tied to an Apple or Google account you have lost, so keep that account secure.
Reporting a photo or video
UNSEEN has zero tolerance for objectionable content. Anyone viewing an event can report a capture from the Report option on that photo or video — inside the app or on the event's reveal page at uncn.io. The host can also hide any capture and block a guest, which removes that guest's captures and stops them adding more. You can also report by writing to legal@uncn.io. We review every report and act within 24 hours — removing content that breaks the rules and, where needed, removing the person who posted it.
Your data, and deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, which removes every event you created and the captures inside them.
